Documentation
Use
Controls the posting process in the document component of valuation.
If this indicator has not been set, the reversal documents are stored in compressed form in the database. This means that redundant information is avoided. Since the indicator controls the posting in the valuation, the corresponding parts may still be on the screen after a simulation. For operations carried out later on, the system does not, however, display any redundant data.
If this indicator has been set, the reversal documents are stored in the database in uncompressed form.
Example
If this indicator has been set, true offsetting postings are made in reversal documents, for example. This increases the memory space that
is used. If the indicator has not been set, then the system does not create any offsetting posting rows in the reversal document. Instead, it marks the old rows as invalid so that the memory space used is kept to a minimum.
