Documentation
Definition
Used to determine the party in the partnership that is responsible for a particular transaction, such as a business acquisition.
Use
In the commission calculation, it may be relevant under certain circumstances to know which member concluded the business when it comes to distributing the valuation/remuneration among the individual members. This indicator identifies the corresponding member in the entitlement group group business (entitlement category: partnership/group[=6], entitlement object type: representative [=5]).
Dependencies
The Responsible indicator is generally set by the logical service:
- Partnerships [OTC 42]
- Determine Responsible Participants [Method 11]
Example
A partnership consists of three members. In a particular remuneration scenario, the person who concluded the business with the customer is to receive 50% of the remuneration and the other two members share the remainder. In the commission case, the Responsible indicator is set for the member who concluded the business.
