Definition
Contains the setting for checking the characteristic attributes in the determination process. The characteristic attribute can be the business object or another object, such as the commission contract, by which the determination process can be initiated, and the determination process then determines the initiating combination.
Use
This field controls the way the determination process reacts to an incorrect characteristic. The initiating characteristic is always checked in the determination process. The following values are possible for this check field:
- 1 - Ignore error: Characteristic attribute is checked; if it incorrect, the error is ignored.
- 2 - Trigger error message: Characteristic attribute is checked; if it is incorrect, an error message is issued.
Dependencies
Example
The commission case uses the determination process to determine performance-related remuneration types for the participants of this commission case. In this example, the commission case is the initiating characteristic attribute. If the commission contract cannot be found, the setting of this field dictates how the determination process shall handle this error.
