Documentation
Definition
You define the commission-relevant characteristics of the business object types as attributes of the subobjects. Using subobject types, you can map the structure and characteristics of the business objects in the system.
Use
A subobject type has to be assigned to a business object type in the commission system so that the subobject type can be used for commissions calculations.
A business object can be assigned to a maximum of one subobject type.
However, various business object types can refer to the same subobject type, which contains the attributes of the business object type.
Example
Business object type 1 -> Subobject type A
Business object type 2 -> Subobject type A
-----------------------------------------------------------
Subobject types can be structured hierarchically.
If a business object type refers to this kind of hierarchically organized subobject type structure, then the top subobject type is known as 'leading'.
