Definition
The number of time units divides up a period into gapless intervals, thus defining the length of each time interval.
Use
Dependencies
If you use the number of time units in period rules, you must make sure that no unwanted periods are created at the end of the previous version and the start of the next version. You have to select the start date of the period rule of the next period rule version accordingly.
