Use
Has the effect that more than one selection number is found for a particular characteristic combination of a selection table.
This field is always available to you in the assignment table. You can also create a field of type PL_SEL_ID (multiple selection) in one or more selection tables so that multiple selection is available from the selection tables.
Field PL_SEL_ID (multiple selection) is only used for control purposes and is not analyzed explicitly during determination.
Procedure
If you have created a field of type PL_SEL_ID in a selection table, you can achieve multiple selection as follows:
- Create several lines in the selection table that, apart from the PL_SEL_ID field, have the same key.
- Enter any numbers in field PL_SEL_ID, but each pair must be different.
If, on the other hand, you want to use the multiple selection field in the assignment table, proceed as follows:
- Using the selection ID, refer to a row in the assignment table (that is, assign a selection ID to a characteristic combination).
- Make several entries for this ID in the assignment table. They should only differ in the multiple selection field.
