Use

In Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) you can use SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer to modify the content of your portal quickly and easily.

SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer

SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer is a powerful design tool.

Content developers and business design experts can use Visual Composer to create content for SAP NetWeaver without having to write coding manually. For more information about Visual Composer, see the SAP Service Marketplace at the internet address service.sap.com/nw-vc on the SAP Help Portal, which is at the internet address help.sap.com. Choose Documentation -> Prior to SAP NetWeaver -> SAP Visual Composer (6.0).

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met:

  • An ICM application must be active.
  • The SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal must be active.
  • You have installed SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer.
  • The ICM portal role, to which you want to add portal content, has been configured in the portal.
  • The ICM application is connected to SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal.

Procedure

Example function modules for ICM - Back End

ICM contains a large number of function modules, and some sample function modules that you can use to access the ICM enhancement functions. See Sample Function Modules.

1. Enter transaction SE37 Function Builder in the command field.

2. In the input field, choose a sample function module.

3. Copy the sample function module as per your naming convention.

4. Activate the RFC connection.

5. Set the import and export parameters.

SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer

1. Log on to SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer.

2. Create a model: Choose Menu Bar -> Model -> New Model. Choose Name and Folder, and save your data.

3. Create a model: In the navigation window on the left choose Compose and drag the iView to the Storyboard. Choose a name.

4. Create the connection to the back end. Call the function module that you created earlier (see above ICM Example Function Modules - Back End , point 4). In the left navigation window choose Find Data -> Choose System ->
Find the function module you created and drag it to the Storyboard.

5. Add the input form: Choose Input Parameter -> Add an Input Form for the Input Parameters of the
Function Module

6. Add the output table views: Choose Export Parameter -> Results -> Add an Output Table View

7. If required, you can also change the layout.

8. Compile and Deploy: Left navigation bar: Deploy -> Compile Model -> Deploy Model -> Run.

9. Once you have applied the function module you can see the interim result in the browser window.

3. Create a page in the portal: Choose Role Page folder and create a new portal page.

4. In the Visual Composer iView add the new portal page (delta link): Choose Visual Composer Folder.
Then choose Deployed Model, and add the model -> iView to Page (delta link).

5. Add the role to the portal page you have just created.
