Definition

Indicates the rule that applies for unplanned separations.

Use

You define separation rules for partnerships to describe what happens when the partnership ends, either as scheduled or unscheduled, for instance how the portfolio is to be divided up. These rules must be fixed at the point when the partnership is created.

If you create a partnership without defining a separation rule, a predefined separation rule is defaulted in this field (provided a default rule has been identified as such in Customizing).
