Date on which the AVAD message was issued (German-specific).
AVAD:
"Auskunftsstelle über Versicherungs-Bausparkassenaußendienst und Versicherungsmakler in Deutschland e.V." (a central organization in Germany that supplies information on the trustworthiness of sales representatives and brokers working in the area of insurance).
AVAD is a self-help organization set up by insurance companies to collect information on insurance field employees and passes it on to insurance companies.
Use
Insurance companies are obliged to request information from AVAD before signing a contract with an applicant whose main occupation is in the insurance field force.
Only trustworthy individuals are eligible to work as an insurance field employee (sales representatives and brokers).
