Specifies which of the existing prices is to be used for activity allocation.
In activity allocation the costs are determined by valuating the activity quantity with a price. These prices can be either calculated iteratively through price calculation or entered manually by the user. The prices are stored in the actual and in the plan for business processes and for the activity type of a cost center.
You can choose from the following strategies:
- 1: Plan price for the period
- 2: Plan price as an average across all fiscal year periods
- 3: Plan price as the average of the remainder periods of the fiscal year
- 4: Actual price of the prior period
- 5: The most recent prior actual price
If the system does not find an actual price for the current period,
searches for an actual price in the prior periods of the current
- 6: The most recent plan price
If no plan price is found for the current period, the system
searches for a plan price in prior periods, possibly across more
than one fiscal year.
- 7: Manual actual price
This strategy requires a manually entered price, which can then be
used for allocation.
