Definition

The budget version enables you to manage two or more sets of data in parallel for the same budget object.

Use

You may want to have different versions of budget data based, for example on

• the type of assumption for the budget (optimistic, pessimistic)
• when the budget data was created

This is especially the case in the phase when you are setting up the budget for future years (budget preparation phase).
