The standard screen sequence is used if you do not explicitly define a screen sequence when you call a screen sequence category.
Example
In business partner the standard screen sequence is used if
- no screen sequence variant has been assigned to the BP role or BP role grouping relevant for maintenance
- different screen sequences are assigned to multiple BP roles or BP role groupings involved in maintenance
