Definition
Means that your application object uses part groupings. With part groupings, you can merge several parts into one maintenance unit.
Depending on the setting with "Number of BP roles per object instance", the use of part groupings has a different effect on the dialog:
- One part can be created, one part can be selected
If the activity "Create" and a part grouping are transferred to the BDT for maintenance, a dialog box appears in which you can select exactly one of the assigned parts.
With the activities "Change" and "Display," neither the part nor the part grouping has to be transferred. The part is determined by input of the object instance number, because the part is an attribute in the primary table. At ISDAT, the relevant application transfers the part name to the BDT (call the function module BUS_RLTYP_SET). - Several parts can be created, one part can be selected
If a part grouping is transferred to the BDT for maintenance, a dialog box appears in which you can select one of the assigned parts. This applies to all activities. - Several parts can be created, several parts can be selected
If a part grouping is transferred to the BDT for maintenance, maintenance of all parts assigned to the grouping takes place, that is to say all attributes of these parts are tendered for maintenance.
Requirements
You can only select this flag if the application object also uses divisibility.
Example
With the application object "Business Partner" in FI, several BP roles (payer, dunning recipient etc.) are combined in the BP role grouping "Customer."
