Definition

Means that several parts can be created for each object instance. During data maintenance, it is only possible to select one part.

Requirements

This indicator is only active if the application object uses divisibility.

Note

With application objects where this indicator is set, there is normally a dedicated table for the parts. The key comprises the key for the primary table of the application object, and the field 'part'.

Example

With the application object 'Business Partner', the primary table BUT000 has the key field 'Partner number'. The parts of the business partner (in Business Partner these parts are called BP roles) are in table BUT100, whose key comprises the business partner number and the part.
