Documentation
Definition
You should always maintain business partners in conjunction with a BP role. Sometimes you might wish to create data on a business partner for whom you are not yet able to define a BP role.
In such cases there is a BP role for general maintenance. In Business Partner this is BP role "000000". In contrast to other BP roles,
- the BP role is not saved when you create a partner
- the existence of the BP role is not checked when you change a partner
Example
The business partner data on a business card is only copied into the system for information purposes.
