Specifies the business partner role to which a business partner can be assigned.

Use

The SAP Business Partner has many attributes. Since not all the attributes are required for a business partner, you can assign the business partner to a specific role within the business partner dialog. Depending on the business transaction, relevant datasets are assigned to the business partner role so that only a specific section of the business partner master data is displayed.

Example

You can use the following roles for the SAP Business Partner:

• Prospect
• Employee

If you have a CRM System, you can also use the following roles:

• Sold-to party
• Ship-to party
