Definition

Here you enter the number of a function key to allocate your function to a function key or pushbutton. A distinction is made between two groups of function key numbers:

• Function key numbers with pushbutton
  Numbers 01 to 10 are linked to a pushbutton in the application toolbar. The function keys are CTRL-F1 to CTRL-F10.
  
• Function key numbers without pushbutton
  Numbers 11 to 15 are not linked to a pushbutton in the application toolbar. The function keys are CTRL-F11 to CTRL-F12 or CTRL-Shift-F1 to CTRL-Shift-F3.

Notes

The wide range of options for configuring screens may mean that a number of functions active in a screen have the same function key number. In this case, the BDT distributes the functions to other function key numbers which are free.
