Definition

If you select this option, the GUI function can be activated or deactivated depending on the activity, view and screen sequence category.

Use

When deciding whether a function is active or not, the BDT proceeds as follows:

  1. The BDT first looks at the settings for function active per view/ screen sequence category.
    If an entry is found for the current screen sequence category in one of the views on the screen, this entry determines the status of the function.
  2. If nothing is found under 1, the BDT looks at the settings for function active per view.
    If an entry is found for one of the views on the screen, this entry determines the status of the function.
  3. If still no entry is found, the BDT looks at the general entry for the function.

Note

The settings in the control tables for GUI functions can only cover standard cases. You therefore have the option of setting the status of a function at event DCUAC by way of a program. To do so you can call the BDT function modules BUS_CUA_FUNCTIONS_GET and BUS_CUA_FUNCTIONS_SET.
