Use
If you set this indicator for a field group, you cannot show or hide fields in this field group with Customizing. In this case, a function module for the field group (event FMOD2) must exist that sets the fields to "not ready for input" at least for the "Display" activity (if this is what you want).
If the field group is located on the initial screen, the fields for the "Display" activity may also need to be ready for input. By setting this indicator and with the FMOD2 module, you give the fields this status.
