Definition
Amount from which an interest rate is valid. By specifying the amount, an interest rate specification staggered according to amounts is possible. This is currently only implemented for the balance interest calculation.
Absolute amounts are taken as a basis. Thus the +/- sign of the balances for which interest is to be calculated is not taken into consideration.
If you enter an amount in this field, an entry for which this field is not filled is also necessary for technical reasons. This entry must contain the same specifications in the following key fields:
- interest calculation indicator
- currency key
- valid from
The entry must be different only in the 'consecutive number' key field.
Note
If you have specified several amounts for the same key (interest indicators, currency and validity date) and now specify a different amount for this key with a different validity date, then you must specify all other amounts for the new validity date as well. Thus, you must also enter the entries under the new date for which no change resulted.
