Definition

Specifies a value out of any runtime information that admits identifying which application instance is currently running.

Use

For the automatic context accord determination it is essential to know which application instance is currently running. The composing of instrument types allows the arrangement of context accords in dependency of a particular runtime information, called an instrument. When an application is asking for access to the global context, it must be vested to exactly one context accord during the runtime that establishes a framework, in which all contextual information whtch the application needs is provided. This framework is invisible to the application itself, but it takes control over how the application is allowed to deal with contextual information.
