Use

If you have increased or reduced the budget in a subordinate element by a certain amount and chosen Add changed values during totalling up, the budget values on the respective superior elements will be increased or reduced by exactly this amount.

If you do not choose Add changed values during totalling, the budget values entered in the subordinate elements are totalled on the respective superior level and displayed there. In doing so, the already existing budget values of the superior elements are overwritten by the distributed value (total of the actually distributed values of the subordinate levels.
