Documentation
Definition
Indicator which determines whether and how availability control should be activated.
There are three possibilities:
- 0 = Cannot be activated
Availability control cannot be activated - that is, active availability control is not possible for orders/projects with this budget profile.
Caution:
If you enter this setting, availability control which is already active may be deactivated again. - 1 = Automatic activation during budget allocation
Availability control is automatically activated during budgeting - that is, it is activated as soon as you enter a budget for the project or order.
Note:
Budgeting is only possible if you have defined at least one tolerance limit for the budget profile. - 2 = Background activation when usage exceeded
You can only activate availability control with the background activation function. The system activates availability control automatically for all projects/orders in which the funds commitments exceed the usage figure entered in the budget profile. To this end, you must enter:
- the quantity of projects/orders for which availability control should be activated using background activation
- the periodicity of the background job which activates availability control
For detailed information, read the "Availability control" section of the Project System document.
Note:You must also maintain tolerance limits for the budget profile, so that the system can check the postings.
