Documentation
Definition
Note: The field is not currently used in the standard SAP system (subsequent settlement).
The indicator can only be maintained on the vendor, purchasing organization level (LFM1), and not on the vendor, purchasing organization, vendor subrange, plant level (LFM2).
The indicator allows an index structure for the subsequent settlement for these vendors. This index helps determine the relevant purchasing documents in the system.
Procedure
Only set the indicator if an index structure for subsequent settlement is necessary for the vendors, in other words, when rebate arrangements are made retroactively.
Only set the indicator if you are sure that the case mentioned above will occur. Otherwise, the volume of data will increase unnecessarily.
