Definition
The billing method determines which steps should be carried out for a contract from the entire billing process in your own system (on behalf of the external service provider) and from the external service provider. This field only makes sense in connection with an external service provider.
Among other thing, the billing method controls the flow of the automatic data exchange with the service provider, especially the generation of Docs.
