Definition

If you enter "1" or "2" in this parameter, then a data extract is prepared for the consolidation system in addition to the list printout. In this case, "1" means that a data extract takes place at company code level, and "2" that it takes place at business area level. If you enter "2", then the original business area is replaced by the global consolidated business area. The extract always refers to the reporting year which you have entered and to the reporting period. Depending on the parameter "Financial statement type", either cumulative values based on the upper limit of the posting period, or the values for the opening financial statements are transferred.

If you have entered a plan version for planned figures, then memo records are extracted for the specified reporting period. A record is made at the same time with the following structure:

  • Financial statement key
  • Company code
  • Plan version
  • Account number
  • Business area
  • Reporting year
  • Balance
  • Reporting period -from-
  • Reporting period -to-

This extract is expanded in the consolidation system using data relevant for consolidation and processed further into a consolidated balance sheet.
