Definition
With this indicator you control whether the update function is active for the cost (condition type VPRS).
Since this function only updates the cost, it is also called the VPRS update function.
The following settings control how and when the cost is to be updated:
- No value:
The VPRS update function is not active. - 1: The VPRS update function immediately updates the cost in the relevant billing documents as soon as they are created.
- 2: The VPRS update function flags the billing documents that are to be updated and updates the costs later in a batch report (transaction Update Cost).
Use
The VPRS update function is only relevant for the Billing application and is executed in the following processes:
- Third-party business transaction with and without reference to contracts
- Goods issue with delivery-related billing
- Goods issue with order-related billing
- Goods issue with contract-related billing
- Service contract release order with contract-related billing
