Documentation
Definition
If this indicator is set, you can perform results analysis across company codes with this results analysis version. This means that you can valuate your sales order stock or project stock across company codes.
Use
You may wish to use cross-company results analysis in the following situations:
- In sales-order-related production, production orders can be created in a company code that not the same as the company code of the sales order.
- In engineer-to-order environments, specific WBS elements can be assigned to different company codes.
Without cross-company valuation, the costs for the WBS elements and orders of the second company code are normally reported as work in process in that company code until the order is completed. Once the order is completed, these costs are included in results analysis in the first company code.
