Documentation
Use
- If the Amnt stat. rel. (amount is statistically relevant) field is selected, the amount for a billing line item is transferred to statistics. The update rules for the amount statistics group are observed.
- If the Amnt stat. rel. field is not selected, the amount is not transferred to statistics. In this case, the update rules for the Amount statistics group are ignored.
If you include a rate in a billing schema, the system checks all steps to determine if the corresponding variant generates lines relevant to posting. If posting-relevant lines are generated, you must specify an amount statistics group in the schema. This amount statistics group establishes how the amount of the posting-relevant billing line item is processed in statistics (in the Utilities Information System, UIS) and in the statistical posting for Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
When a posting-relevant billing line item is generated in billing during execution of a variant program, the amount statistics group is copied to the billing line item. In addition, the Amnt stat. rel. field is selected.
In certain cases, however, the selection is deleted later in the billing.
Example
In a best-rate billing, billing line items are deactivated by means of a deletion variant. The selection in the Amnt stat. rel. field is deleted for the inactive billing line items. As a result, the amount of this billing line item is ignored during the statistical update - regardless of the value for the amount statistics group.
