Definition
Controls whether minimum and maximum quantities are considered for each plant.
Use
This indicator is used (i.e. analyzed) when:
- the system calculates plant quantities from the item quantity
- the system calculates plant quantities from the quantity for the plant group
- you manually enter a quantity for a plant
- the incompleteness log is updated
The indicator applies both to returns items and to standard items.
It is only used for calculating or updating planned quantities. It is not used for any other quantities (requested quantity, confirmed quantity). If the confirmed quantity falls short of the minimum quantity or exceeds the maximum quantity, a warning message is issued. The system does not compare requested quantities with this indicator.
This indicator is not used for updating plant quantities on the plant screens.
On the "Plants in item" and "Plants in plant group" screens, the system only issues a warning and not an error message when the plant quantities do not meet the minimum/maximum quantities.
