Definition
Identifies a building unit in connection with the organizational unit that is assigned to the building unit.
The identifier can be used when assigning a patient to a sickroom or bed location. Because of space restrictions, the identifier appears on many screens and in lists.
The identifier must be unique within the building units that are associated with the same organizational unit.
The identifiers are checked and formatted for identifying the building units when the building unit is assigned to an organizational unit.
