Definition

A mapping operation may have one of the three statuses below:

Green - all OK

A field in the internal structure is assigned to the field in the external structure or else there are no fields at all in the internal structure that can be assigned.

All the required entries have been made.

Yellow - check is recommended

No field in the internal structure has been assigned, even though there are several fields here that could be assigned.

Red - error or missing entries

If the traffic lights are red, one of the problems below exist:

• The field in the external structure contains a currency amount (conversion type BAPICURR) but a currency has not been assigned to the mapping operation.
• The field in the external structure contains an SAP code but it has not been assigned to an ISO code field in the external structure.

So long as one traffic light is red, the function module cannot be generated.

The required values can be entered on the detail screen (select F2).
