Definition
Iterative total price of an activity type for a cost center in the controlling area currency for a cost center.
Planning
Use
The product of the actual quantities received from other cost centers and the price results in the target credit of the cost center.
Use
This field group is used to manually define a total price of an activity type on a cost center in the controlling area currency.
The credit of the cost center results from the product of plan- or actual quantities received from other cost centers and the current plan price.
Procedure
If you want to define the prices manually, you must:
- Define the corresponding field in the planning layout
- Assign the value "3" to the price indicator field in planning
- Issue the appropriate value to the price in planning.
If you do not define the field in the planning layout, the price in the controlling area currency is automatically determined by the system from the price in cost center currency. This applies only if the price in cost center currency was planned manually and the update requirements have been met. In this case the price is displayed in the controlling area currency, but cannot be changed manually.
Note
This field group is only updated if the update in all currencies has been activated in the control indicator of the controlling area for the given fiscal year. Otherwise the prices can only be planned in the controlling area currency.
If you have activated the control indicator, the price in cost center currency will be taken for the calculation of debits and credits for activity allocations. If it is not activated, the price in the controlling area currency is used.
