Definition

Serves to differentiate between quantity updates carried out for the various stock types. Depending on which goods movement is performed, the system derives this key from the following data:

• Movement type (for example, 501 = unrestricted-use, 503 = quality inspection)
• Batch status - unrestricted-use/restricted-use (only when status management is active)
• Specified stock type (for example, in the case of goods receipt for purchase order)
• Stock type preselected by QM (only when QM is active)

This indicator is used for internal program control.
