Definition

Quantity that you can plan for each cost center/activity type or business process, as an alternative to the activity quantity.

Procedure

You can

  • Enter the output quantity directly
  • Enter the activity quantity directly
  • Enter the activity quantity directly and have the system determine the output quantity by choosing "Edit -> Activity <->Output -> Activity->Output"
    • (The output quantity is calculated according to the formula: Output quantity = activity quantity x output factor)
  • Enter the output quantity directly and choose "Edit -> Activity<->Output -> Output->Activity" to have the system determine the activity quantity.
    • (The activity quantity is determined using the formula: Activity quantity = Output quantity/output factor)

If you want to change or create the output during planning, you must define the corresponding field in the planning layout.

Dependencies

  • If you want to enter an output quantity directly, you must have entered an output unit in the master data of the activity type or business process.
  • If you want the system to determine the output quantity, you must also have specified an output factor in the master data.
  • You should use a planning layout that contains a column for the output quantity.
