Definition
Use this indicator to specify whether/when:
- Purchase requisitions are to be created for externally processed activities and external elements as well as for components.
- Component reservations are to be taken into account in MRP. If the indicator is set, this happens when the order is created, otherwise when the order is released.

Dependencies
Note that you can not remove this indicator after you release the network header.
Note:
If this indicator is set in the network header, it is only a default for newly created activities or newly assigned material components.
This indicator has no effect on existing activities or components which you have already assigned. In these cases, set the indicator directly in the activity or the component.
Dependencies
If you do not set this indicator, materials planning will ignore reservations and will not create any purchase requisitions until you release the network.
To set all objects assigned to a WBS element, network or an activity as relevant for materials planning, proceed as follows:
In the network header select Edit -> Functions -> Activate PurcReq/Res.
Please note that response times will increase when you set this indicator.
