Definition

Controls whether a contract determination should be carried out during the creation of a vendor order using the follow-on document generation of the allocation table.

Use

If the system can determine a contract with the appropriate unit of measure, it transfers this contract to the purchase order generation. This makes it possible to post to the contract when a vendor order is created.

If the system finds a contract to which a unit of measure is assigned that differs from the order unit intended in the context of the purchase order generation from the allocation table, then it does not assign the contract. The selection log gives information about the occurrence of differing units of measure.

Dependencies

If a contract is already determined for a line item of the worklist (creation of an allocation list or an allocation table item with reference to the contract), no new contract determination takes place.
