Documentation
Definition
Commitment Type
Use
Controls the activities of the availability control (AVC) during posting.
There are two different commitment types:
- 0 hard
- 1 soft
If you choose commitment type 0, AVC will execute the activities when tolerance limits are exceeded (such as a warning, error message etc.) as specified in the tolerance limit settings.
If you choose commitment type 1, AVC will only respond with a warning when the tolerance limits are exceeded. This is also true even if the activity "error message" was specified in the tolerance limit settings.
Procedure
Assign a commitment type for each value type.
Examples
Dependencies
If you do not assign a commitment type to a value type, the standard system will use commitment type 0 (hard) for this value type.
