Definition

This indicator shows that, when the component quantity is calculated, scrap is taken into account.

Quantity calculation involves the following:

Dependencies

  • If assembly scrap is maintained in the material master of an assembly, the system takes this into account for all components of the assembly. The only exception is components that have the operation scrap net indicator selected.
  • If component scrap is maintained for a component in a BOM, this only applies to the individual component.
  • If both operation scrap and component scrap are maintained for a component, both scrap values are added to the stored component quantity when calculating the component quantity.
