Definition

Number of arrangements that are processed together in a processing step before posting is triggered.

Use

The value you enter indicates the number of arrangements for which business volume or income is saved on the database and for which a check is carried out as to whether the specified period has been exceeded.

If the program terminates, the data created for the current package is lost and must be redetermined when processing is restarted.

For performance reasons, the value you select depends on the number of documents for the arrangement.

  • Recompilation of business volume data

If you have arrangements to which more than 100 000 document items (relevant to business volume) are assigned, you should choose value 1. In other cases, you should enter a higher value (e.g. 10).

With parallel processing in particular (parallel execution of report), value 1 should be selected to limit the use of the main memory.

  • Recompilation of income

Because the volume of settlement documents is usually low, a value of 10 is sufficient.
