Definition
The key date is the baseline date used for calculating all the checks that are ready for archiving. If you do not specify a key date, the system takes the current date as the key date. Checks can only be archived if their cashing or voiding date has been in the system for the same number or more days in the system before the key date.
Examples
Selection of all checks that have been cashed or voided for 100 days:
- Number of days in the system: 100
- Key date : current date
Selection of all checks that were processed in the last year:
- Number of days in the system: 0
- Key date : 12/31 of the last year.
