Definition
Probable number of days before a debit and/or a credit memo is carried out to the bank account.
The number of days is added to the posting date and results in the date relevant for cash management and forecast on which the debit and/or credit memo is to be expected on the bank account.
Example
Payments which are made by transfer are deducted from your bank the next day. This occurs regardless of the amount. This means that the money must be available the next day for payments with this payment method, . For this payment method, you would enter 1 into the field "Days until value date".
The period within which a check is submitted is possibly dependent on the amount. For amounts up to 100,000 DEM, the period until the value date is four days. For all other amounts, the value date is carried out within two days.
