Definition
A grouping of display variants that determines
- Which document information the system displays when you create a list
- Which indexes the system must access to retrieve the relevant information
Use
When you create a list, the entries that you make on the initial screen determine which display group the system uses to create the list. The display group controls, for example, whether the system displays documents by:
- Partner function
- Material
- Customer's purchase order number
- Partner function and material
The different display variants in a display group allow you to display fields in different combinations and sequences.
Procedure
The display groups are predefined in the system and cannot be changed.
