Use
Enter the asset class here, in which you want to create an asset.

Use
Here you can limit the validity of the simulation version. In this screen you can create a generic (masked) entry. To do this, you enter a '+' sign, starting from the right and moving to the left. The '+' sign always represents a single character.
Examples
Asset class 00008000: only the class 00008000
Asset class 0000800+: the classes 00008000 to 00008009
Asset class 00008+++: the classes 00008000 to 00008999
Note
If the system finds several possible entries when using the simulation version, it follows this logic:
- Unmasked entries always take precendence.
- When there is more than one masked entry, the system uses the first appropriate entry.
- If the system finds only masked entries and no unmasked entries, it uses the entry that has the least masking.

Use (Splitting of gain/loss)
According to regulations in France regarding the reporting of short-term and long-term gain/loss, a differentiation must be made between assets requiring depreciation and assets not requiring depreciation. Specify those asset classes which are not subject to ordinary depreciation.
