Definition
Sets as default the stipulation that the conditions for the service in the service master record are to be updated by the conditions for the service in the purchasing document.
Use
If you set this indicator, the system suggests that the conditions in the service master record be updated for each service line of an RFQ. The user can decide whether to accept or reject this default setting (system suggestion) on a line-by-line basis (i.e. for each service line in the RFQ).
Example
Conditions in the service master record:
Service A = 100.00
Service B = 80.00
"Condition update indicator as default in RFQ" has been set in Customizing.
Conditions in the RFQ:
The user maintains the conditions
Service A = 95.00
Service B = 75.00
For service A, the user accepts the suggested (default) indicator (i.e. the system changes the condition in the service master record from 100.00 to 95.00).
For service B, the user resets the default indicator (i.e. in this RFQ the price is 75.00, but in the condition in the service master record it remains unchanged at 80.00).
