Use

During posting, the system applies this tax reporting date in the batch input folder of the posting document.

Dependencies

It is only useful to specify a date if the function for the tax reporting date is active in the company code. To activate the function for the tax reporting date, go to Customizing of the global parameters of the company code and set the Tax Reporting Date Active indicator under Enter Global Parameters.
