Definition

Represents an SOP activity.

An SOP activity enables you to do one of the following:

• Execute a macro that has been defined in a planning type
• Transfer planning data to Demand Management
• Copy data between versions of different information structures
• Run the forecast
• Copy data between Flexible Planning and CO-PA
• Transfer SAP data to third-party systems

Procedure

If you are creating an SOP activity, enter manually a key that will designate the activity. The key can be numeric or alphanumeric.

If you are creating a planning job, choose an existing SOP activity using F4 Help.

Dependencies

You create SOP activities under Settings -> Mass processing -> Activities.

You create and schedule background jobs for SOP activities under Planning -> Mass processing.
