Definition
Indicates whether the system creates an index for administering validity periods.
Example
A special sales promotion is effective for a particular period. During the promotion, you create quotations in which you enter the period of the sales promotion as the validity period. Later, you can use the index to find all quotations that you sent to customers during the validity period of the sales promotion.
