Definition
You can use this indicator to control whether data relevant for Foreign Trade is recorded in the system during the printing of a foreign trade document.
If you set this indicator, the system will carry out an update when you issue the relevant print output for the first time. The system will update, among others, the document number which you can assign internally or externally. Note that the system will not update this billing document and output type if you print out again an already successfully processed and updated print output. This means that only one document number can be assigned for each billing document and output type.
If you print and an error occurs outside the data processing system (for example, a printer hardware error), use the function for processing special cases. This enables you to issue an incorrect printout with document number assignment and repeated update.
Use
You can set the parameter as follows:
- 'X' : Update when printing
- ' ' : No update
