Documentation
Definition
A chart of depreciation is a list of depreciation areas drawn up according to business requirements. The depreciation rules (such as the depreciation keys) can be defined in the system per chart of depreciation. Therefore, company codes in the same country usually use the same chart of depreciation.
Supplementary Documentation - AFAPL 0000
Use
The asset class and its general master data are defined at a level above the chart of accounts. This means that you can create as many entries as you want that are specific for the chart of accounts (depreciation areas with depreciation terms) for each asset class. Enter the chart of depreciation here, for which you want to create the depreciation terms of the asset class.
